HAIR TIES/ Scrunchie: Because it’s a sweaty ride lol
Honey Sticks for a little burst of energy
More snacks for BOTH you and your partner - figure out snacks that are easily digestible for YOU… I did bananas and fig bars plus saltines…YOU CAN eat during labor… check out this article by Evidence Based Birth
Chapstick - very very necessary! You’re gonna be WORKIN!
Bluetooth Speaker
Warm Fuzzy Socks - your feet will be cold!
For Postpartum:
Long Charging Cable: Very likely the plug will be far from where you are laying down, and you know you’re going to be using your phone to take pics and facetime with family!
Toiletries - when I travel, I have all my stuff in Cadence containers! Don’t forget your toothbrush and hairbrush, too!
For Postpartum (down there!)
If you’re giving birth at a hospital, it is very likely they will have all of these items for you. When I gave birth at the hospital, I even took a bunch of these home! WIth Osa, I gave birth at a birthing center, and they didn’t have a lot of these items, so I stocked up!
Peri Bottle : The hospital gave me a general squirt bottle that wasn’t as easy to use, but this Peri bottle has a nice angle that makes it so much easier to use!
Perineal Ice Packs THESE WERE MY FAVORITE. You can also “make your own” with thick maxi pads and add witch hazel and put in the freezer.
Mesh Undies by It’s Bodily Hospital will give you some hospital looking ones, but these made me feel a little more human, and they are washable in an intimates bag
TUCKS Cooling Pads: I put these IN my mesh panty / ice pack combo, was very refreshing // you could use this FridaBaby Mom Perineal Foam instead though!
For Baby:
I brought my nursing pillow when I gave birth at the hospital, but didn’t for the birthing center since I knew I wouldn’t be there as long
