Diaper Bag: What to Pack On-the-go!

Aluna and I are always on the go, and whether it be running errands, going to a friend’s house, or going to the park, here are the things that are always in our diaper bag:

  • Diapers (duh!) - I always bring at least 2 for every 2 hours that I will be gone, because YOU NEVER KNOW!

  • Baby Wipes (also duh!)

  • Extra pair of clothes because of accidents! (FOR YOU, too!)

  • Silicone bib perfect for snack time anywhere, love that it has the pocket that will catch anything they drop!

  • Food catching place mat I usually pack this together with the bib in a large Stasher Bag

  • 2 Wet/Dry Bags to put dirty clothes or dirty diapers in if you don’t have access to a garbage can

  • Muchkin Toy/Pacifier Wipes : These are great for cleaning toys/pacifers when they fall on the floor!

  • Wet Ones Hand Sanitizer Wipes: I wipe everything, and these specifically have alcohol in them to kill germs

  • Straw Water Bottle: We started with this one when she was 6mo, but now that she’s older, we have one of these. I love the patterns, so cute!

  • Teething Toy and/or Sensory Toy - anything that your baby currently is into toy wise!

  • Her favorite books to entertain if there is any waiting around :)

  • SNACKS - I usually put them in this Snack Catcher Bowl, perfect to give baby so they can’t spill all their snacks!

  • Burp Rags or Drool Bibs

Bonus items

I always have in the car:

  • Summer Chair serves as a great booster seat that is easy to set up and comes with an easy travel bag. I also have the Inglesina Fast Chair, but it doesn’t always work at most restaurants, depending on the set up and what table they have. We usually leave that one at grandma’s house or when we travel :)

  • Babyzen Yoyo2 Stroller folds up so small so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in my car! I use it when I got to the mall or anywhere I know I’ll be walking around for a while, but may not want to take up a ton of space

“Emergency health kit”. This usually goes with me “just in case”
